Meet Dirkie Heydenrych
Dirkie Heydenrych’s journey into wildlife photography began in 2007, inspired by a lifelong love for the African wilderness.
Growing up in a family passionate about wildlife, Dirkie was introduced to photography by his father.
Since then, he has spent countless hours travelling through Kruger National Park, Greater Kruger, private game reserves, Botswana, Namibia and other iconic African wilderness areas, patiently capturing the natural world through his lens.
While Dirkie is widely recognised as one of Cape Town’s leading property photographers, wildlife photography has always remained his greatest passion.
It is in the quiet stillness of the bush, waiting for the perfect moment, where his creativity truly comes alive.
